Day Three – The Road to Yair (Southern Upland Way)
EXCLUSIVE By KENNY ANGOVE

NAKED Rambler Stephen Gough was given a rude awakening yesterday — after bunking down at a ROOSTER farm.
The 53-year-old camped near the poultry breeding ground near Cardrona Forest on the edge of Peebles on Saturday night.
And the dad-of-two — who was joined by The Scottish Sun — was woken by a dozen roosters crowing at 5.30AM.
Gough, from Eastleigh, Hants, is now around 45 miles into his 430-mile trek home after being released from Edinburgh’s Saughton nick on Friday.
But his early rise wasn’t all bad as the farmer gave him some eggs for breakfast.
He said: “It was an early wake-up call but it was great to get fresh eggs. Some people are really kind. It just goes to show you.”
That set him up for walking the Southern Upland Way, taking in the 567m Minch Moor and 464m Three Brethren hills — with only sheep and the occasional walker for company.
He said: “It’s great to get off the road which can be boring.”
The former Marine, who has 18 convictions for nudity, has spent most of the last six years inside.
